Flight & Airy Shaker Card
This is a really cute shaker card using the Sale-a-bration 2024 Flight & Airy DSP.
The bird is fussy cut from one sheet, the blue water-color panel is the back of another sheet.
The sentiment is from the Waves of Inspiration bundle, and the ribbon is the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon.
I die cut the square from Stylish Shapes, using 2 square dies at the same time. This created a solid square which I used for the background for the bird.
Glue the bird to the solid square.
Cut the acetate slightly smaller than the square frame, then adhere to the back of the frame. Be careful if you use liquid glue, as I got it on the acetate and it's hard to get off!
Use foam adhesive strips around the frame, making sure you don't leave gaps for the sequins to escape.
Adhere the bird-square to the front of the card as desired. Pour 1/8-1/4 tsp sequins right on top of the bird.
Carefully adhere the frame so you don't catch any sequins under the foam.
The sequins are on the Clearance Rack, For Everything Sequins. They are so much prettier in person than in the catalog!
