The Stampin' Professor

This is a very straightforward card using Black, White, and Basic Beige.  I love how the color block technique makes it pop.  The Layered Florals Embossing Folder looks great on Black - you wouldn't think of a floral design in black, but I think it works. Measurements: Basic Beige Base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" Black 4" x 5 1/4" White 3 3/4" x 5" Basic Beige 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" Basic Black (Embossed Layer) 3" x 4" Basic White for the sentiment: 1" x 3 7/8" The sentiment is from the retired set 'Perennial Postage', but I love to mix and match sentiments, so comb through your stash to see what you have that will fit. Emboss the smaller Black panel using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. Layers: Basic Beige Base, Black 4" x 5 1/4", White 3 3/4" x 5", Basic Beige 3 1/4" x 4 1/4", Embossed Black 3" x 4".   I received a fun fold card from my Upline, Lisa Curcio, and a Workshop Hostess wanted to make that card for her workshop.  I didn't have the bundle, so I had to get creative! The original used Cheerful Daisies Bundle, but I substituted Delightful Wishes, a new Online Exclusive. The card base is Pool Party 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock, cut to 4 1/4" x 7, scored at 5 1/2".  Round all corners. Cut the Pool Party design from Country Woods DSP to 4 1/4" x 1 1/2", and round the bottom corners.  Adhere to the top flap of the Pool Party card base. Cut 2 pieces of Basic White CS, one at 4" x 5 1/4" (front) and one at 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" (insert).  The front is slightly larger to completely hide the insert. Stamp a sentiment on the front panel, off to one side.  I used 'You're simply Marvelous' from the retired Perennial Postage Stamp Set.  I just love those sentiments!
