Gilded Leafing Technique

 Add gold veins to stamped images easily and with just a few supplies.







Stamp your image (Artistic Impressions used here) onto Basic White Thick Cardstock.  I stamped in the opposite corners for interest. Draw thin lines of glue with Fine Tip Glue Pen.  Layer Gilding Flakes over glue lines & burnish.  Wipe away with Stampin Sponge.  Voila! You have a lovely gilded piece.

O Holy Night

  Card base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" Cut Basic Black cardstock to 4"x 5 1/2".   Cut Basic White Thick cardstock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" to emboss. Heat emboss 'O Holy Night' in the lower right corner. Seaside Wishes in Blues

  I stamped and die cut lots of the images from the new Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Bundle so I could play around with colors and layout.  The embossed background is basic beige, run through the Seaside Wishes Embossing Folder.  The blue dsp along the left edge is from Country Woods 12"x12" DSP.  I love this paper! I used Blending Brushes to add Pecan Pie & Crumb Cake to the sand dollar images on the top layer of the folder.  Then added the dies to emboss and cut at once.  The definition is really nice. The sand dollars have one dimensional in the center, then the outer edges are glued down.  I like how that adds just a bit of dimension. The sentiment is on a 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" piece of Basic White, then mounted on a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of Night of Navy. It was a lot of fun playing with this set!
